What a coating does, and what it leaves to film
A ceramic coating is a chemical polymer that bonds to your clear coat and cures into a hard, high-gloss layer. It resists swirl marks and the contaminants that settle on a North Texas car every week, and it makes washing easier because dirt has far less to grip. That is the honest list, and it is a good one.
What a coating is not: a shield against dents or rock chips. It is a thin layer of chemistry, and gravel thrown up on I-35 can still mark the paint underneath. If chips are your worry, the better answer is paint protection film, and we will tell you so on the phone before we sell you a coating you did not need.
Plenty of Lewisville owners end up with both: film on the leading edges, then coating over the whole car, film included.
Paint correction comes before anything is sealed
A coating locks in whatever is underneath it. Put one over swirls and haze and you have sealed the damage under a hard glaze, which is why we do not start with the coating. The car is washed, decontaminated and then inspected under the hexagon LED lighting in the studio at 519 Bennett Ln #103, light that shows holograms and fine scratches daylight hides.
Stage 1 correction is the lighter pass: it takes out the light swirling and brings the gloss back. Stage 2 is the deeper, more thorough pass for heavier marking. Level 1 has no correction at all and suits paint that is already clean. Level 2 includes Stage 1, and Levels 3 and 4 include Stage 2.
When you drop the car off, we look at the paint together and say which stage it needs. If the paint is cleaner than you feared, you pay for less correction, not more.
Cured under infrared in a filtered bay
We are certified installers of System X Phantom, an advanced 2K ceramic protection, and FEYNLAB Ultra V3, a five-year biphasal ceramic technology. REVIVIFY self-healing protection is on the shelf too, flexible and heat-activated. Which product goes on your car depends on the paint, the level you pick and how you use the vehicle.
Coatings are cured with infrared lamps, and the bay runs industrial-grade air filtration so dust stays off the wet surface while it sets. That equipment is the reason coating work happens in our Lewisville studio rather than in a driveway. Keeping a coated car coated
Aftercare is simple. Wash with a pH-balanced soap and clean microfiber, skip the brush tunnels, and let the coating do the beading. The soaps and waxes we use ourselves are non-toxic and safe for kids and pets, and our premium auto detailing visits keep the interior as fresh as the paint.
